Despite a last place AL East finish, and placing fourth from the bottom in the American League with a 71-91 record last season, Boston is sitting at the top of the American League Pennant favorites list. It’s the same perch the Red Sox owned last year at this time. Additions like Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez headline the winter overhaul in Boston. While the Red Sox will have a stacked batting order their pitching rotation, that's without and ace, is still a question mark in Beantown.

One year ago the Tigers, Yankees and Rangers owned the two to four favorite positions in the American League. Fast forward a year and we find Detroit has dropped to fifth while New York and Texas have fallen to 11th and 12th respectively.
