The Devils have called the Prudential Center home since 2007 after making the leap from East Rutherford to Newark. Plunked in the city's downtown, New Jersey aiming to add another championship banner to the ones they transported over from the Meadowlands.

When "Seven Nation Army" rings out at the Prudential Center, it means things are going well for their tenants the New Jersey Devils. The White Stripes anthem serves as the club's goal tune and is punctuated by a thundering "YOU SUCK" from the crowd to add a little extra flavour. (The "YOU SUCK" add-on dates back to when "Rock and Roll Part II" was the go-to track. The song was removed in a bid to get rid of the fan tradition, but it couldn't be hold down for long.) That song hasn't gotten much of a workout lately with New Jersey's dip in quality on the ice, but the club did perform substantially better at their home rink in 2014-15 than away from it. 19 of New Jersey's 32 wins from last season occurred on the ice of the Prudential Center.
Attendance for Devils games hasn't been all it could be over the past half-decade. Aside from a period of 97.1% turnout following the club's surprise Stanley Cup run, the '10s has seen the building at 83.8% to 88.7% full. Those numbers aren't exactly disastrous, but it takes a bit of the luster off the Garden State's reputation as a major hockey market. The Prudential Center's seen its share of memorable sights in its brief history as the Devils home rink. The standout moment? Probably Adam Henrique's OT winner versus the Rangers that sent the Devils to the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals. That said, a very strong case could also be made for Martin Brodeur nabbing win 522 (a new NHL record) at the Devils home rink.
