Runaway leaders in runs scored at 215 (White Sox - 179) total hits at 392 (Arizona - 326) and team batting average at .310 (Tigers .285), the Rockies are rocking ballparks across the league - not just in the Mile High air of Coors Field in Denver. Colorado has won nine of their last 13 games.
Texas Rangers: Roller-coaster season continues in the Lone Star State
Wins and loses have been coming in bunches for Texas recently. Following a stretch where they went 9-1 in mid-April, the Rangers have posted a 3-9 record over their last 12 games. Three poundings by Colorado - by a combined 29-5 final count - are included in the terrible Texas drought. MLB teams rarely get swept in a four game series (the first two were at Coors Field) but we don't see the Rockies bats cooling down anytime soon.
