Chargers and Broncos: NFL Week 5 Parlay Betting Prediction
Denver vs Arizona: Broncos aim to clip the Cardinals
Fresh off their bye week, Denver is back home as the Broncos look to get back their winning ways. Peyton Manning & Co. took out the Colts (31-24) and Chiefs (24-17) at home before they lost to 26-20 in OT to the Seahawks in Week 3 on the road. Arizona is also coming off a bye as the Cardinals soar into the Rockies with a perfect 3-0 record. The somewhat surprising Cards sandwiched a 25-14 road win over the Giants with home wins over the Chargers (18-17) and dysfunctional 49ers (23-14) to earn the top perch in the NFC West.
San Diego vs New York: Chargers look to ground the Jets in SoCal
After alllowing 14 points in the fourth quarter of their 18-17 season opening loss on the road in Arizona, San Diego has reeled off three straight wins. The Chargers shocked the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks 30-21 at home, went on the road and beat the Bills (22-10) and then jack-up the Jaguars 33-14 at home in Week 5. An already long season will get longer for New York today as the Jets free fall into Southern California on a three game losing streak. A dicey season opening 19-14 home victory over Oakland was followed by a road loss in Green Bay (31-24) and home loses to Chicago (27-19) in Week 3 and Detroit (24-17) last week. NFL Week 5 Parlay Ticket: Although we respect the Cardinals record - the Birds are better at home than on the road and QB Drew Stanton gets the start today. Denver is rested and they are 11-0 in their last eleven home games - regular season and playoffs included. The Jets are facing a losing season, and have probably enjoyed the beauty of Southern California this week. The Chargers aerial attack will be featured and in full flight at home today where the Bolts haven't lost since they dropped a 17-10 contest to the Bengals on December 1, 2013.
