Golden State Warriors @ Toronto Raptors Prediction 2016

BET THE RAPTORS (-115) AT BET365.  Well, last night sucked. But the Raptors were very close to a road win on the defending champions floor. They needed less bad calls from the officials, and fewer braindead technical fouls from Kyle Lowry. That being said, it may be best they’re going into tonight’s game with a decent game behind them, and a chip on their shoulder, as they go from the Cavs to the Warriors Tonight, Kyle squares off against his third elite point guard in 10 days. Our guards will come out aggressive and make their backcourt work. They have to. The Raptors can’t match the depth of talent with the Warriors. So they will have to simply outwork them and keep them on their heels. Which we predict they will do. 

The Detroit Pistons @ the New York Knicks Prediction

BET THE PISTONS (-111) AT BET365. The Pistons' Reggie Jackson is close to returning, but still on the shelf for now. We’re still trying to figure this team out. They beat the Spurs, but also lost to the Nets. Ish Smith has not been the point guard they’ve been looking for, and makes it an easy decision to slide Jackson right back into that starter spot, ASAP. Smith has shot terribly from the floor and only mustered 6 assists per night on the season as a placeholder. They are coming off a nice win against the Thunder. The Knicks, on the other hand, are still the most inconsistent team in the NBA. They have only 2 wins so far this year over .500 clubs. And they won’t get one at home tonight. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers @ The Indiana Pacers Prediction

BET THE CAVALIERS (-111) AT BET365. The two teams are in wildly different places. The Cavs are firing on all cylinders, while the Pacers have no idea where they are. They won their last game against Orlando, but they have yet to win back-to-back games since the preseason. They just turned in their best defensive effort of the year against Orlando, holding them to 69 points. Prior to that, they were one of the statistically worst defensive teams in the NBA. Their D still isn’t good and is going to get lit up tonight by Lebron and the Cavs.

The Houston Rockets @ OKC Thunder Prediction

BET THE THUNDER (-111) AT BET365. This is fun. James Harden and Russell Westbrook are now newly singled one-man-shows. They’re also, obviously, former teammates. So this is going to be a shootout. Maybe not in the first 3 quarters, but these guys will stop passing in the 4th. Patrick Beverley is not back yet, so expect one more fun game of Harden at point guard for the Rockets. I’m not a fan of his, but he’s been nothing short of spectacular. 30 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Haters can’t even hate anymore. But Russ is at home and desperately in need of snapping this 4 game skid The Thunder are on.

The Memphis Grizzlies @ The LA Clippers Prediction

BET THE CLIPPERS (-111) AT BET365. The Grizzlies are already a bit banged up on the season. Brandan Wright is out getting his knee scoped, Mike Conley has a bum hamstring. Chandler Parsons also has had knee issues. They are in no shape to be playing the Clippers in LA. The Clips look like the team we’ve wanted them to be for so long. They’re beating their opponents by an average of 14.4 points a game. They’re 10-1 out of the gates, with wins over quality teams. There is almost nothing to convince me that Memphis can beat them right now. And they won’t.

This is a great night for NBA action. Spend your time flipping between the Raptors and Golden State game on one channel, and James Harden vs Russell Westbrook on another. There is also the nearly invincible Clippers hosting the Grizzlies in the western nightcap tonight.
