I really feel like this is going to get worse before it gets better. The Montréal Canadiens now sit in the basement in the NHL's Atlantic Division, after dropping their fifth game in a row. It was another disappointing offensive effort and a real defensive letdown, as they lost 5 to 2 to the not so great San Jose Sharks. How much worse can it get? Well, they are on the road for two more games in California. How will they fare tonight against the LA Kings?

Well, this is not good at all. If you're a Montréal Canadiens fan, that is. We had a real beast of the schedule to start the season, and we have not been able to find our footing. At all. The Habs have lost their last 4 games, and haven't won since opening night. They also have scored an embarrassingly low amount of goals. Today, they hit the road and face the arguably-just-as-disappointing San Jose Sharks team.

There is only one undefeated team left in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs have really exceeded my expectations to start the season, with a 5-0 record. That 5-0 does contain three road games, by the way. This weekend, they're at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. How will they fair? Will the Steelers halt the NFL's longest winning streak, or will the Chiefs extend to 6-0? Keep reading to find out.

CBC is the place to be tonight. Lord, I can't believe I just said that. But, it's oddly appropriate for once. They have two absolutely fantastic games in a Hockey Night in Canada. First, the Toronto Maple Leafs throwdown against the Montréal Canadiens. And in the nightcap, the Ottawa Senators go up against the Edmonton Oilers. But right now, we’re only concerned with the Habs.

Seriously though. The schedule-makers hate the Montréal Canadiens. This has been a rough way to start the season. But if you were overly optimistic I guess you could say this is a chance for them to test their championship medal. The expectations are 100% focussed on the Stanley Cup this year. So a bit of adversity to start the year, and some challenging scheduling is a good thing, right? Right, right?

So this should be an interesting game. Both the Canadiens and the Rangers are coming off of losses they don’t want to talk about. So, maybe don’t bring them up around either team. Just sayin. I sort of love games where both teams are coming in angry. It leads to good old-fashioned punch-in-the-face hockey. So let’s get into this. Here are the lines and predictions for tonight’s game.

I don’t know about you, but on this Thanksgiving weekend, I’m thankful we have a ton of hockey to watch and bet on. Because hockey is superior to family in every measurable way. But family is OK, as long as they’re quiet while the hockey is on. Tonight, we will be blowing off dinner plans to watch the Montreal Canadiens against the Washington Capitals, in a fun early-season matchup.

I don't know about you but I am getting sick and tired of not watching hockey. And I am just as sick and tired of not betting on hockey. Baseball and golf have had their fun over the summer months, but it's now time to turn our focus back where it belongs. The NHL. Canada loves betting on football and basketball. But this is the main event. Make no mistake about it.

You're not gonna have any trouble finding prop bets on who takes a knee during the national anthem this Sunday. This remains one of the most headline-grabbing and attention-getting storylines the National Football League has had in years. However, we’re old school, so let's focus on the actual games. And let's make you some money while we're at it.
