Like a reversal of game 2, it was Pittsburgh who scored first but the Predators took over and finally solved Penguins' goaltender Matt Murray. They look to even the series on game 4 at Monday 8:00 PM ET.

The Golden State Warriors drew first blood in the NBA Finals by blowing out the Cleveland Cavaliers at home. Steph Curry and Kevin Durant combined for 66 points despite the Warriors only shooting 42 percent from the field. The game started close but Curry and Durant's hot shooting pulled them away. Game 2 is Sunday 8:00 PM ET.

The Pittsburgh Penguins took a commanding 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Finals following a 4-1 drubbing of the Nashville Predators at home. Nashville scored first but the Pens led by Jake Guentzel poured it on the visitors and neither the Preds' vaunted defense nor Pekka Rinne had any answers. Game 3 is Saturday 8:00 PM ET.

It's the trilogy to the Golden State and Cleveland saga following near-flawless playoffs performances from both teams. The Warriors and Cavaliers combined for a 24-1 record in the NBA playoffs with the Warriors becoming the first team to win its first 12 playoff games but the Cavs are the defending champions.
