Anaheim Ducks: Ruling the roost in the NHL Pacific Division
While their play hasn’t been all that solid recently, Anaheim still holds a commanding ten point lead in the Pacific Division playoff race. Following a torrid 8-1-0 run to open the New Year, the Ducks have wobbled some as they have posted a 4-6-1 record over their last eleven games. Defense has been a bit of issue for Anaheim as they were outscored by a 43-33 margin during that stretch. The Ducks recorded 2-1 and 4-2 wins during a home and home series vs Edmonton back in December.

Another long season is crawling to a close in the Alberta capital as Edmonton will miss the playoff party for a ninth straight year. With a 17-33-10 record, the Oilers are second last overall as they battle Buffalo in the Connor McDavid sweepstakes.
