St. Louis Cardinals: One game deficit in Central
St. Louis trails the Pittsburgh Pirates by one game in the NL Central as the month of August enters its final week. After grabbing a win over the Braves in the opener of this series on Thursday night, the Cardinals will look to take game two tonight behind the arm of Adam Wainwright, a former Braves prospect.
Atlanta Braves: Well out in front in East
With a 14 game lead in the NL East, the Braves would need an epic collapse to not win the division title. They would also need the Nationals or the Mets (second and third place respectively), to figure out how to win some games. The Braves send Kris Medlen to the mound with his 10 wins.
