Golden State Warriors: Off to an excellent start
Golden State has started the season with an overall record of 18-9 and are 8-3 at home. The Warriors are 8-2 in their last 10 games played and are without a doubt one of the biggest surprises in the league so far. Golden State has lost 17 of 18 to the Lakers and are just 1-8 at Oracle Arena against LA. The Warriors fell 101-77 to the Lakers on November 9. This time will be different though as the Warriors are a much better.
Los Angeles Lakers: Beginning to put things together
Following an incredibly rough start to the season, the Lakers are starting to figure things out on the court under new head coach Mike D'Antoni. The Lakers have won three straight games and are looking for a season-high fourth straight win tonight. LA is just 4-6 in its previous 10 games, but has played much better of late. Kobe Bryant leads the league with 29.5 points per game, but the Lakers are just 12-14 overall.
In what should be one of the more exciting NBA games on the schedule Saturday night, the Warriors play host to conference rival Los Angeles.
