Minnesota Vikings: RB Adrian Peterson is back in the fold
Looking to build off their 3-2 finish to the 2014 NFL season, the two loses were both by two points, bigger things are expected in Minnesota this season. QB Teddy Bridgewater showed signs of being a star down the stretch last season and during his brief appearances in the preseason this year. Getting RB Adrian Peterson back in the fold will certainly help Bridgewater as AP played in just one game last year because of a personal-conduct suspension. The addition of WR Mike Wallace to compliment third year WR Charles Johnson and TE Kyle Rudolph is also a boost to Bridgewater taking the next step in his young career. Like sailors fleeing from a sinking ship, few teams have experienced the offseason turmoil the 49ers faced over the past seven months. It started at the top as head coach Jim Harbaugh left to take the top job in Michigan (NCAAF) and defensive coordinator Dick Fangio is now with the Bears in Chicago. After ten solid years in San Francisco, RB Frank Gore has moved on to Indianapolis and sophomore Carlos Hyde takes on the lead back role. Wide receivers Michael Crabtree (Chagers) and Stevie Johnson (Raiders) also moved on during the offseason. The list of players that left the 49ers defense is too long to list here but one of the top units in the NFL over the past few season is now just a shell of its former self. It is going to be a very long season at the home of Super Bowl 50.
