Kansas City Royals: Vying for top spot in Al Central
As one of the teams we have watched improve over the past couple of seasons, we aren't surprised to see Kansas City just one game behind Detroit in the AL Central. The Royals have been MLB doormats for almost three decades now but they went from 72 wins in 2012 to 82 wins last season. It will not surprise us in the least if KC flirts with 90 wins - for the first time since the 1989 MLB season when they posted 92 victories.
Cleveland Indians: Still in the ALC Divisional race despite recent slide
An up and down start to the 2013 MLB season continues in Cleveland as the Indians have not won more than two games in a row (three times) and have lost three straight contests twice en route to a 9-11 record. In what has been a competitive AL Central early on, the Tribe occupy the cellar but are just 1.5 games back of the Royals and 2.5 behind the Tigers. We feel Royals LHP Jason Vargas vs. RHP Justin Masterson favors KC. Online Betting Canada Call: Take the William Hill run line and ride the Royals with 500 units.
