Calgary travels up the east coast after a 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.

The Wings made sure it didn’t happen at the Joe Louis Arena as Detroit posted a 1-0 win over the Capitals on Tuesday. The Great Eight was denied again last night as he was held off the scoresheet during the Caps rout of the Flyers. Being as Calgary leads the NHL with 66 goals allowed, good for a shoddy 3.82 goals against per game average; we feel Friday the 13th will be a lucky night for the Capitals and Ovechkin on their home pond.
Flames vs Capitals NHL Call: Karri Ramo (3-6-0 GAA 3.54) makes his seventh consecutive start for Calgary tonight while Philipp Grubauer (2-0-0 GAA 2.43) gives Capitals starter Braden Holtby a night off and makes his third start of the season here. The Flames are a mess at this point as they have trouble scoring (2.41 GPG) and their aforementioned defense is atrocious.
