Fun to watch, difficult to call. That is your NFL’s National Conference. In a 15 year span, the NFC sent 11 different teams to the Super Bowl, whereas the AFC sent 6. Teams will take their turns at the top. Most recently, the only time that an NFC team made back-to-back Super Bowl appearances was when the Seattle Seahawks did it recently in 2013 and 2014. The conference has 16 teams and most of them have been relevant for at least a season or two, in the last decade and a half.
Historically speaking, the Cowboys have won the most conference titles, with 8. At the wrong end of the spectrum, the only NFC team to never play in a Super Bowl game is the Detroit Lions. They have brief brushes with relevance, but never seem to make the big push all the way. They also own one of the lowest historical winning percentages.

How To Bet On National Football Conference
Look for the Panthers and Packers to fight for the right to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Both these teams are hungry, talented and experienced. They also have enough youth to stay in this spot for a few more years. It’s hard to imagine anyone from the NFC East beating either of these teams.
How bout them Cowboys as your sleeper team? This is a team many picked to win it all a few short years ago. They’ve been ravaged by injuries, inconsistent play and dashed expectations lately. But, it’s not completely out of the question that they pull it together, Tony Romo proves he has one great push in him, and they at least win the wide open division.
Then again, they’re just as likely to keep sliding downward. Typically the best teams in the NFC will win between 12-15 games. Whereas the worst teams will still find a way to win 4,5, or even 6 games in a season. So who will they beat? That’s where you make your money. Most experts say you will always make more money picking underdogs wisely when betting on football, versus riding the favorites.
